Personal Power and Leadership

I think sometimes people forget how powerful they are. They get so used to just being swept along with whatever tide is blowing that they forget that even one small voice can make a difference.

Personal power and leadership are positively linked. People who know how powerful they are make better decisions for themselves and are more likely to stand firm on what they believe.

As someone once pointed out, there is strength in numbers. Perhaps the person who voices concerns about an issue may have a small voice but by raising their voice, someone with a bigger voice hears and echoes their complaint. It echoes on in this way, so we get change. This is how artistes use music for social change.
